The reagents used in the flotation process are called flotation reagents. Flotation agents can be divided into five categories according to their use: collectors, foaming agents, activators, inhibitors, regulators. Therefore, one of the purposes of using flotation reagents in the flotation process is to increase the difference in hydrophobicity between mineral particles. This article analyzes common flotation reagents and their usage, and then elaborates the related applications of flotation reagents.
